ZBG Davos tour ( lasted from Jan. 22 to 26) has finished, and it’s time to recap the highlights.
The Davos Digital Future Summit (Davos Blockbase 2019) — helded in Davos, Switzerland, on the 24th of January alongside the World Economic Forum. Similar to the last year, blockchain and cryptocurrencies were one of the major talking points in Davos.
As this year’s special highlight, Davos Digital Future Summit 2019 was dedicated one section of its Inaugural program to China’s Role in the 4th Industrial Revolution. The initiative is to explore the path on the bridges of cultural understanding, shared values, and impactful collaborations with innovators, futurists, investors, and creators from a mosaic of diverse perspectives.
ZBG, ZB , and ZBX (backed by ZB.com, a Malta based crypto exchange) participated at the much-awaited China Day Special, aimed at covering a range of different topics from entrepreneurship and social innovation to urban development and industries from technology and blockchain to investment and finance.
Omar Chen, CEO of ZBG, was participating in the roundtable titled “Exchange the World: Go Big or Go Home”, moderated by Jimmy Zhao, CEO & Founder of Zillion Bits and CMO of ZBX.
The other participants of the roundtable included Wang Shilong from ZB, Dave Pulis from ZBX, Sophie Chen from EXX, Cathy Zhu from BW, and Lee Dong Un from BitHi.
Don Tapscott, CEO of Tapscott Group, co-founder at the Blockchain Research Institute and one of the most influential voices of blockchain and the digital economy, who was a opening at the “ Davos China Day” talked about the evolution of the digital economy and the impact blockchain has had and will continue to have on our lives.
“The blockchain is an incorruptible digital ledger of economic transactions that can be programmed to record not just financial transactions but virtually everything of value.”
Additionally, Omar Chen gave an interview to BloxliveTV at the event, in which he highlighted that Asian countries like China, Korea, Singapore, Japan, and India might be the most important players to push blockchain integration in the near future.
Bit-hi exchange (a Korean based crypto exchange) and ZBG exchange met in Davos. Lee Dong Un (CEO of Bit-hi) and Omar Chen (CEO of ZBG) respectively exchanged views on market situation and complementary advantages of both sides and have reached strategic cooperation. More info here.

Last week in Davos was a part of the run-up to the official launch of the ZBX trading platform, making ZBX into one of the first cryptocurrency exchanges in the world to operate from a regulated environment.
